I don't know if this helps you or not, but the harness adjuster on the Radian isn't meant to be pulled in one motion. It has a "ratcheting" adjuster, so you should pull, release, pull, release, and so on. Pulling once really hard doesn't do much. Also, in RF'ing mode, you can also pull the harness down from the back. That helps too.
Good to know! Thanks.

I don't know about the actual sets themselves, but recaro is a very well respected brand in the automotive racing industry. Had I known about these seats when I purchased our seats, that's what I would have wanted.

While racing and infant seats are very different, my opinion is that they've done more research into crashes and safety then maybe other companies - or maybe look at the research differently.

Most of the safety features in our daily vehicles has come from racing research. I would personally believe in a brand that has this kind of a background.

Recaro is a great line for shorter to average sized kiddos. I love the line, but I make very tall babies, so we would not get much use out of their seats.

I don't think that Recaro is available in Canada. I think I looked for one of their seats when I was having the 3rd row seatbelt issue. I wish it was though.

Really? The website didn't indicate so, but I also didn't look that closely.

The Reacro's convertible car seat is for children less than 49 inches (22.5 inches seated). Rear facing weight to 5-40 lbs. Forward facing from 20-65 lbs.

I think we're going to to get the Radian with the angle adjuster. I don't want to have to buy another seat.

Although the Britax click tight did look really cool.

You will still need to buy a booster down the road...the booster mode on the radian is outgrown around the same time as the harness. It is a very long lasting seat though

Doesn't the Frontier outlast the Radian? Or are they about equal? The new frontier is a click tight seat

Recaro is not available in Canada and in most provinces you're insurance is void if you're in an accident and are using one. I'm not sure to what extent void. Plus you can get a ticket. Actually most car seats purchased in the US you can't use here even if they carry them in Canada. They must have the Canadian stamp on them. Which of course most US car seats, if not all, don't.

My BFF has recaro for her three kids and will use nothing else.

I don't think the Frontier rear faces.

I got two Radians, you will definitely need the angle adjuster. I'm not going to be able to use it for T until he turns one.

I'm going to try and install it tomorrow with the angle adjuster. Fingers crossed!
