Yep we have to put CJ's booster in the seat that folds down to access the 3rd row even though it means moving the booster everytime (if he's not sitting on the 3rd row that is) bc his booster absolutely will not fit on the drivers side with Rebekah's car seat in the middle. They definitely take up more room than his butt would.

Don't forget to check and see if the car has a moveable guid for the shoulder belt. If it can be lowered, you might be able to get a better fit across the shoulder.

I have an honest question about seat belt position and I'm sorry to hijack. I know that adults are different and have a more mature bone structure. But I have never had a seat belt sit on my lap/hips instead up toward to my stomach or on my stomach. I never really paid it any mind until I started learning more about car seat safety. So how do we position the belt so it sits correctly not only on us but on our kids?

I'm really not sure, Kelly. I always assumed it was more of a size/torso height issue. I'm a little bit tall (5'7") and have never had any issue with proper belt fit. DS is 4'6" and still needs a few more inches before I'll be comfortable with the belt fit on him sans booster.
