I end up going, "I remember this part", and skipping ahead pages at a time. LOL.

I love to re-read books, especially my favorites!
GWTW
Harry Potter (I can't wait to read these to my kids!)
Have a Little Faith (I think, it's a Mitch Albom book)
The Chronicles of Narnia (another one I can't wait to read to my kiddos)
Little House series (read the first one to DDs already)
The Giver

There's quite a few books I read and re-read as a kid too:
Where the Red Fern Grows
Island of the Blue Dolphins
Call of the Wild
My Side of the Mountain (loved!)
Julie of the Wolves
Misty of Chincoteague
Sing Down the Moon

Now I have a whole bunch of books to add to my Amazon wish list!

I'm embarrassed to say that I haven't voluntarily read more than 3 books in the last 20 years. I'm enjoying this thread though because I've been telling myself to read more for, we'll 20 years! LOL!

I'm going to use this thread as a list of good books to get me going.

I re-read all the time. There's no rhyme or reason to it, I'll just start getting this nagging feeling and paragraphs of the book will start to go through my mind and the only way to shut it up is to read the book again. If I don't, then the book will annoy me and interrupt me when I'm reading other books. It's worse when I don't remember the book title because then I have to wait until the flashbacks get strong enough to give me a clue to the title (there's also a webpage that I frequent where I have found titles to books when one doesn't remember it).

I recently re-read all of the Harry Potters (for atleast the 10th time). I also re-read the Confessions of a Shopaholic series and am reading the new one now. When I was unpacking my books, I picked up The Great Gatsby and started reading it again.
I'm also about to start re-reading the Odd Thomas series by Dean Koontz because the last one just came out.
And this last 6 moths, I've re-read the Goldy Schulz books by Diane Mott Davidson and The Giver series. I didn't know there was a 4th one, so of course I had to re-read the first three before I read the new one.
That doesn't even count all of the new books I've read.

Second Child
The Giver - I've never read the other books in the series, but I really want to.
Anna Karenina
The Sleeping Beauty series (Anne Rice)
Insomnia
The Talisman
Clan of the Cavebear
The Dollanganger series
Flowers for Algernon

I haven't read a book in a really long time I love to read.

The flowers in the attic series? I forgot I re read the first one last year! I can't find the others though.
The Giver series is interesting. I wish there was more explanation. The second two Gathering Blue and The Messenger almost could be by themselves. The last one, Son, kind of ties them all together. I wanted to know why the societies were different and why technology was so different.

Yes, The Flowers in the Attic series. I read those as a young teen. My mom had no idea! I lent them to my best friend and she read them, too.

I read them as a younger teen too, with my Mom's permission! Also Seventh Son by Orson Scott Card. I need to find that series so I can re read it.

I read a lot as a young teen... Stephen King, VC Andrews, Forever by Judy Bloom , tons and tons that weren't exactly appropriate but I loved them all.
