I am reading The Paris Wife. My 4th grader and I are listening to The London Eye Mystery on audio.

The light between Oceans was an amazing read. It was a great book to snuggle up on a big chair or soft sofa under a blanket and read. It might also be good to listen to if you have a large chunk of time.

I think that's my problem. I'm trying to run and listen to it and it just makes me want to be still and reflective.

I'm reading Freedom's Crossing by Anne McCaffrey. Picked it up after stepping away from the series for years. Just read the Pioneer Woman: From High Heels to Tractor Wheels, a Love Story. I love her cookbooks blog and show. She's a hoot. And her meeting "Marlboro Man" is a hoot and a half. You'll love it!

I just read the Hunger Games trilogy for the first time. I read all three in 4 days. I am completely traumatized.

To me, running to that book isn't the best fit, but it would be awesome on a long car trip.

I just finished the Virtues and Valor series from Hallee Bridgeman. It's a historical WWI series of novellas.

I haven't been reading much in the last several years, other than parenting books. I recently found out how to check out library books on my kindle though, so I am in trouble. Two I just read that are very different but both fascinating are Unbroken and Still Alice.

I just finished up Tortilla Flat, never read that one before . Before that I reread Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. It gets better every time I read it!

The Leap: the science of trust and why it matters. This is really interesting.

I like the chapters on government.

"Low political trust also means low social trust , and the more that we have faith in our political leaders, the more that we’re willing to place our faith in people we don’t know."
