We just re-use them every year. I haven't bought eggs in so long. The ones we get from other people, I hot glue to ribbons and hang on our tree out front!

I made a few wool felt ones a couple years ago, those usually have felt peeps in them. The plastic ones we have been using each year; in the past theyve been filled with: hair bows, piggy paint, finger puppets, shaped crayons, coins & a couple pieces of candy. This year the filling will be trinkets for they're fairy garden.

I had to buy some this year but next year we will leave out their easter baskets with the empty eggs for the easter bunny to reuse. I fill ours with little trinkets like this year I bought small stamps shapped erasers I will put in small nail polishes and prob. Coins/dollars in a few too.

My girls love to do a backyard hunt so I save and reuse them year after year.

We've had the same eggs since we've had kids We just reuse them each year. And a couple get added to the play kitchen in between as well.
