I'm jealous, Brandi! We're close, 9 days to go.

Logan just has pb&j, carrots, chips, and grapes.

Evan's is spinach dip with french bread, carrots, and grapes.

G got leftover pizza, carrots, apple slices, and pretzels today. I offered to let her buy lunch the rest of the year, but every morning I ask her (since she has to order for the next day) and she tells me no. 7 more!

I still have until June 13th....

I didn't snap a picture today -

Jo had a homemade lunchable with turkey and sharp cheddar, pears, and a couple cookies.

Ethan had a big salad, some crackers with sharp cheddar, and pears.
~~~~~~~
Also - I don't know how appropriate it is to post about it - but I am about to open a co-op over on Cloth Universe for a bunch of bento stuff. I really wish I had enough posts to apply to host it here too!
No pictures here either.
DS got a salad today with ranch and bacon on top, he's obsessed with bacon on everything right now, so he was thrilled. He also got some watermelon and Trader Joe's version of Ritz crackers.
Only 2 lunches left for me!
I packed G hummus, wheat thins, carrots, apples, leftover naan from dinner that she loved, and a tootsie roll.
French bread and spinach dip! Love that idea.
This was yesterday's. My kids still have 2 weeks left.
1/2 a pb&j sandwich, apple slices, carrots, yogurt, nutter butters, and Lili had triscuits while Alex had a snack mix.
Yesterday's lunch for DS: salami & pepperjack kabobs, veggies, cherries, and peanut butter filled pretzels.
DS2's snack was basically the same but with string cheese instead of pepperjack.
Today was my last day of lunches so I was lazy and sent just PB&J, veggies and pretzels. I am done for the summer! Woohoo!!
Today is the last day for me! I didn't have to pack for Evan because his teacher is buying them pizza for lunch. Logan just took some cheese and Wheat Thins and cantaloupe.
Gotta say that I love looking back on the photos.
We decided to go with the Rubbermaid Lunch Blox for this coming year and are getting 10 sets since sometimes our kids leave a set at school
I need to come up with a different system too. We're mainly doing fruit salad for lunch now so I'll probably use the same silicone containers that I use for Duffy's lunch. And our snack sacks for dry stuff.
He needs a new cooler/lunch box though. We have 3 Easy Lunch Box ones but they're all looking pretty rough.
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!
I only had to pack for one since my kindergartener only goes a half day this first day.
So, here's the first lunch of the year!
-Kabobs with salami, turkey, cheese & olives
-Watermelon balls
-Cherry tomatoes, Cucumbers & Carrots
-A French Baguette
(And the snack is pepper-jack string cheese and a homemade snack mix of granola, cheerios, sunflower seeds, choc. chips & raisins.)
I wish my grandparents had been creative with my lunches as a kid! I got a sandwich, an apple and water bottle in a brown paper sack
