You can't really tell, most kids under five have sensory issues, its rather normal. Its takes a professional to really say if its beyond that or not. Why the brackets?

You know my son has that. What do you need to know? Only doctors can tell you yes or no, because what are the guidelines for being within normal ranges are so vast!

DD1 has sensory processing disorder on the under sensitive side. She was diagnosed by an occupational therapist, not a doctor. I requested the evaluation, though, because of sensory seeking behavior I noticed. Also, she seems impervious to most pain, and it was freaking me out! If you have any questions, feel free to pm me!

That sounds like Victoria. She's a head banger. We had to teach her to bang her head into a beanbag or a pillow so she stopped hurting herself. She is a huge sensory seeker. I like the book The Out of Sync Child.
