Default So what kind of cups do your lo's use?

I don't mean zippy cups. We use Klean Kanteens for those. My question is for when they transition out of sippys. Our glasses are too big/heavy for them to hold well, as opposed to a plastic cup. And also they have broken a few, which is not so awesome. But I hate plastic with a passion and want to get rid of the only 4 we have left. Thoughts?

We use Tupperware. It's supposed to be bpa free and they are great quality.

I have the small tupperware cups and then some glass juice glasses that are pretty small. I have been looking at stainess steel ones on Amazon.

We have some small juice-size glasses from Ikea. DD has not broken one, nor have any of the little kids we have visit who have used them. And they've been dropped for sure.

We also have some stainless steel cups that are 8 oz. We don't use them too often, though. Not sure why--they just aren't as appealing as those little Ikea glasses, for some reason.

I gave in and got some plastic. We also have a few random mismatched china tea cups. They are lighter weight so they are easier to hold. I just grabbed a few of the 99 cent ones at the thrift store

a random collection of plastic and lightweight tea cups. It's just about the only plastic dishware I still use on any sort of regular basis. I am getting some RSE squishy cups to hopefully replace the plastic.

Stainless steel and enamel cups made just for littles. The enamel ones are from novanatural.com . The stainless steel are part of a set (plate, cup, bowl, spoon, fork) we got on amazon.
I hate plastic.

My Preschoolers use the Ikea cups. I have 3 sets of them and they are washed every single day. They look as good as new.

(I think the Ikea ones are BPA free, too?)

You can get a sport cap lid for your Kleen Kantenes, that is what we use, works great and really cheap. The sport cap lids are only $5 each and they work with the sippies.
~~~~~~~
Camelbak has some that have straws but they are plastic, BPA free though.
