stepDD ended up picking aring that was around $400 or maybe a bit less. Its nice and she's from a very country small town in IL and she wont' leave that area and I honestly think she'll wear it through adulthood - at least young adult hood. Mne is in a box. I guess my kids might be fascinated by it sometime.

Mine was $200 something back in 2002 when I got it. I lost it, though It fell off in the movie theater and I could never find it.

I think mine was in the $300 range in 1996. I got a boys ring because the girls ones were too small and didn't have as many details.
I also got a school key thing. I never wore it, but my mom had hers from high school and I thought it would be neat to have one too. It was another $50 or so.
Now I want to dig up my ring and see it, I hardly remember what it looks like.

I want one for my BA. If this link works...
http://www.jostens.com/apps/store/ri...06078_1003200/
That's what I want it to look like.
~~~~~~~
Nope, didn't work...
Well, like that, but with a dark blue stone and engraving. Conveniently, my alma mater's motto is short and I love it, so I could have that and the year engraved on it.
~~~~~~~
Oh- and it's pricey. $434 without adding diamonds or higher end metals.
