I got mine for Christmas last year and used it for the first time when Stephanie posted ribs from hers on FB.They looked amazing, so I made ribs in mine (they were amazing). I think I'm going to do stock today. I do kind of wish I had two. I also wish they made liners for these like you can get for the crockpot!

The ribs were so good! I've hardly been cooking at all, lately, but I am SO excited to really see what this can do!

They make liners. I've had an electric pressure cooker for years, although mine is not an instant pot. (I did buy one on prime day, but am debating whether I want to keep it or gift it. lol) When I first got mine, I bought an extra liner for it and an extra seal. It's worked great for almost as long as CDN has existed. You can get a Kit for the Instant Pot that has an extra liner, a seal and a lid. I saw a coupon for the kid to reduce the price a bit in one of the fb groups, but I'm not sure which one. Here's the link to the kit though. https://instantpot.com/store/product...age&featured=Y If you search the groups, you can probably find the coupon. It's worth it to have an extra liner.

This week I'm planning on making black beans and brown rice and lentil soup.
~~~~~~~
I have made hard boiled eggs, salsa chicken (shredded it for tacos/burritos/nachos).
I used 1 of the chicken breasts and made a taco chicken soup.
Oh, wow! I didn't think of a real liner! That's really tempting! I was thinking of disposable liners like these: http://www.target.com/p/reynolds-slo...g&gclsrc=aw.ds
I thought about it on Prime day and passed. Now I really want one so I'm deciding what to do.
Is it really just a pressure cooker? Or is there something special about them, I already have a digital pressure cooker.
It's a rice cooker and a slow cooker too. You can also sautee.
I'm actually kicking myself that I didn't bring it on vacation with us because the grills are like a mile away from our room.
I use it all the time and I know I haven't even scratched the surface of what it can do.
Yogurt was easy in it too.
It is a different one than the Prime day one. It doesn't have a yogurt option and it only has a high pressure option.
It's on for a few minutes. I ordered it. I asked and was told that if you don't care about yogurt. And that the low pressure option isn't used that much.
Yeah I figured if I end up using it all the time, knowing me I will get a second one because of the size of our family and how much I cook at a time. So I can order the 7 in 1 later if I need it. I'm excited to try it though!
I've never used the low pressure function on mine. When I finally have the money for a 2nd one it'll be the cheaper LUX since I already have a DUO and will never need to make yogurt in 2 pots at once LOL
