HPV is one that come hell or highwater, I would NOT give my child. There is some serious ~POOP~ going down with that vax that is killing kids/teens.

Ugg. Just typed and managed to delete what I had - local story regarding a current meningitis case in a vaccinated patient. This is someone very close to us. At this point, not knowing how ts will go... I can't even imagine not getting my kids boosters when the time comes. All we can do is pray for recovery right now.

The kindergarten brother of one of my students died from bacterial meningitis a few years ago. It was horrible. I would be inclined to get it, even though we do spread out vacs and opt out of a few. Really just chicken pox anymore since they're not tiny little things now. I was finally able to put the poor school nurse out of her misery by giving her both girls' updated records.

We will likely avoid the Hpv vac when it comes up and I will let the girls make their own choices on that later once they are adults.
