Default Do your kids use calculators in school?

I'm not talking about upper classes, but for basic, everyday math skills. I'm just curious to see if it is normal for my kid to be getting this kind of pressure from his school.

I hope not in the younger grades for just basic skills! Sadly, the basic skills are waning. Most of my high school students that I taught still added on their fingers and didn't have their multiplication tables memorized.
