I finally decided that I am buying a carrier with my BRU giftcard. These are my choices-

I'd pick the wrap, easier to use with an infant and cause I would just want to support that company over the other one cause I'm a snob like that

Will the wrap fit me since I am a bit fluffy? I figured yes, but wanted to be sure because I didn't see a size limit in the description.

as far as I know, yes it will. I've fit them on many larger people without any trouble

Thanks! I was leaning toward the wrap. I just need to decide on what color I want to go with.

I decided on a Moby wrap for baby when he's born and I have an Ergo for when he's a bit older.
~~~~~~~
In other words, wrap!
Is Moby better than Boba? I have than option as well (and it's available right now, the boba I would have to wait on)..
I personally couldn't tell you if one is better than the other. I bought the Moby because I found one cheap at a second hand child store.
I will be the voice of dissent, I hated the Moby. I would not get a stretchy wrap, they are not very awesome after a month or so. I would get the mei tai and buy a woven wrap somewhere else.
This. Though I never tried a stretchy wrap, I wouldn't want to buy something I couldn't use for very long. When my baby was new we first used a pouch sling, then a mei tai, and then a woven. I'd have used a woven from the beginning but didn't have one yet.
I used our sleepy wrap which is like a moby and it was awesome for the first six months and then I started to not like it as much and got the adjustable pouch sling and I still use it. But I would say go for the wrap because it's awesome newbies. You can always set aside $10 or whatever each paycheck after the baby arrives to fund a different type of carrier for when you feel your ready to go on to another carrier and have a bigger budget for something you really want.
I made my husband put on the sleepwrap once and it fit him (300 lbs man) but I wouldn't let him use it because he would never tighten it enough for it to work safely. I can't imagine a different wrap would be much different in length size.
If I never get my sleepywrap back from the family member I lent it to, I am going to try out the K'tan wrap thing this time. I seems like it would be easier to put on in parking lots without struggling to keep it from touching the ground so I don't have to put it on at home and wear it in the car like I did last time. I did get a few weird looks from other cars as to why I was dressed like a frumpy jedi.
They have some Peanut Shell adjustable slings too.
Woven wraps and ring sling are our go to from birth +.
Out of those 2 I'd choose the Beco/Moby. They will only last max 4-6 months before they get uncomfortable, but babes love the snugly feeling.
The mei tai will last much longer use wise.
My tiny one is 6 months old and for the first few months, I exclusively used the CuddlyWrap (stretchy wrap). However, I bought an Ergo with an infant insert and I found that for grocery shopping that became my go-to carrier, although I preferred how she fit in the CuddlyWrap.
In parking lots (especially with snow and slush and sand and salt), the CuddlyWrap didn't work because it would get dirty as I was wrapping it. The Ergo was easy to just pop her into beside the car (even at -30).
Now that she's 6 months old, and a tiny 6 month old, she's starting to be a bit tall for the width of the CuddlyWrap, so I bought a piece of gauzey-type fabric and made myself a woven wrap and I still use the Ergo constantly as well.
Soon I want to figure out how to wear her on my back. At that point, both will still work.
I guess my point is, make sure the wrap is the full width of the fabric before you buy it or make sure the other carrier is comfy and quick to put on.
