Actually we are doing quite well. The kids keep talking about Donner (our dog) being in heaven and having all the bones and balls to chew that he wants. Dh is already talking about another german shepherd puppy but a female this time. Our other dog is doing better. We have kept her with us at night and spend a lot more time with her.
