Any Advice for Saving for College

The 529s don't expire, I don't think, so you can use them on any of your kids, your grandkids, cousins, etc.

We have a Utah 529 for each of the kids.

We have 529s set up for each kid and we pay an allotment each month for each kid. We never "see" the money so we don't "miss" it. I think it is 50$ a month for each kid? We generally start the fund with that year's tax return.

I am saving two ways. My kids have TRowe Price account that their annual "incomes" go into. They get dividends so I always put 50% in there. Additionally we are doing Globe Life (my mom opened those accounts on the grandparent option) and Gerber Grow up (under my name). Oddly enough we couldn't open Globe Life AND Gerber Grow up under my name it asks that question specifically on the Globe Life plan, but it does allow for grandparents to open one.

I had a Grow up plan from when I was younger and when I got married my mom cashed it out and paid for my wedding I think I got about $7k, but then I dont know at what age she started the policy. I think my youngest child's monthly bill is less than $10 a month. My older kids I started their policies outside of infancy and I think the most expensive policy is about $20 a month.
